What is Righteousness?
Who defines it?
As Orwell prophesied in 1984, those who control the world can make it whatever they want--they can even rewrite the past. We see this today, as Donald Trump attempts to rewrite historical events we all have witnessed, like January 6th.
We all saw the mass of his MAGA army attacking the U.S. Capitol that day, but Trump says it wasn't like that at all; that those were patriots defending America from thieves trying to steal a 'sacred election.'
Trump is lying, but as his power grows, and he continues to put a stranglehold on our democracy, stripping away our rights, denying people DUE PROCESS, we are already seeing how he will rewrite the history books if we let him.
Today, millions of Christians believe Jesus was a loving, merciful teacher who came to die for the sins of man. In truth, Jesus-according to scripture and the Church--IS God (John 1:1). That means that instead of being the meek savior, Jesus is the brutal murdering monster of the Old Testament, killing infants (1 Samuel 15), boys (2 Kings 2) and turning girls over to be raped (Numbers 31:18). Christians, however, have been convinced that God is permitted to do these things because God is righteous. How could that be?
How could a brutal murderer ever be righteous? How could one who has brought about death and pain and hurt on so many be the embodiment of righteousness?
Because Christians were taught to believe that, and soon American history books will be teaching our children that Trump was a great man, a beloved hero, and won the 2020 Presidential election. And that he was never in the Epstein Files, but that is was Trump who stopped Epstein.
"He who defines righteousness is righteous."
